At least five people have died and 19 others injured on Saturday after a driver of a speeding vehicle lost control in Jarra Jenoi, the police in Lower Rover Region said.
The driver was said to be speeding and refusing to slowdown at a sharp bend towards Yellitenda-Bambatenda to be on time for the ferry.
Police said the vehicle carrying at least two dozen passengers summersaulted and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
